Stand for 180g

Does a stand for a 180g need center supports? I'm toying with the idea of building a stand with space for a 40g breeder underneath to use as a growout tank, but I would need to skip a center brace. I could either offset it or just go with a smaller tank for the growouts if it does indeed need it.

Assuming the tank is glass then no center brace is needed. I would do a 3/4" plywood stand with 2x4's around the outer edges. I have a stand under my 200 built this way with a 80 gallon sump under it.

It is glass. I would do 4x4's in the corner and 2x4's every where else.
