Hi guys, I am building a 10x3x3 aquarium. I have ordered and received the glass so now i need to think about the stand.
I would like to make it out of 90x45 pine as this tank will be an in wall setup and the stand will for some of the stud frame.
Does anyone have any pictures of a stand for a tank this size or any design ideas?

That is some massive weight. I would seriously consider steel, but if using wood, I would be incorporating 4x4s in my design. Sorry I have not seen a wood build this size, so I'm little help.

Wow,that's really big.
It looks like it's going on a concrete floor. That's good.
I would look at the wooden stands on this site. You definitely want a few "walls" under the middle of the tank.
I'd probably put 3/4" plywood (used for subflooring) between the tank bottom and stand too.
Sorry, not an expert, look through other people's successful builds.

For something that big, you're going o want to use 4x4. I'll post a pic of my stand. I used 2x4 but you can use the same concept and just add some more to the middle. Out should be fairly simple to do. Also, Since you are doing glass, you don't necessarily need a sheet of plywood. You can just use something thin for appearance. Just add some 4x4s across the middle on top
