I have a wooden stand for a 180 glass tank that I am considering using for a 180 gallon acrylic tank. I am going to attach a piece of plywood on each side of the center brace so that it is supported throughout. I'm sure this will work, but was wondering if anyone has done this before.

Thanks for looking!

i havent personally done it but id use at least 1/2 inch plywood and you should be good. the stand can handle the weight and the tank needs to be supported completely. looks like you got the right idea in my opinion.
