Stand Help

Stand for a 108. It seems the stand had sagged in the middle. Its less than an 1/8" its runs along the length. Its runs a fair distance along the tank. The tank was already filled for 24 hours no problems. Do you think I could have a problem? Is there a way to counter act the gap? should I use a piece of foam to cover the entire top? Is it anything to worry about?

what did u ended up doing? Did you add some 2x4 in the center? BTW, that is a good looking DIY stand.

I went to the lfs and looked at the tanks and stands. All those are off a little bit in the middle as well. The owner said don't worry about it. I had it filled for 24 hours.

On metal rack stand the middle actually doesn't touch the tank. I read somewhere on MFK they said this is acceptable.
