So im looking at getting 2 8×4x2.5 fiberglass tanks with a viewing window and stacked in wall setup. Is it possible to stack two tanks that size on top of each other and still have adequate access to the bottom tank through the stand legs without compromising structural integrity? I was thinking of oversizong the stand a little and having the bottom tank start at a height 12 inches and the top one start at 60inches. Leaving about a foot and a half between tanks for accessiblity.

Unfortunately I don't think steel is an option as I will have to build the stand in the room and I for one don't know how to build a steel stand. I was thinking about doing this though, what if I build the first stand the 100x50 with a height of 12 inches and then I build the second stand over it withas the dimensions of 112x60 with a height of 60 inches. Could that work?

If I use 2×10's will it be to support the weight if the legs are asymmetrical from the front of the tank to the back?
