Stand?

Ok a some of you saw on my other thread and I need a bigger tank I have picked one out. I know it is not big enough for my 2 rays and silver aero for life but before they out grow this one I will have moved out of my apartment and into a condo or house were a bigger tank is a must!. I am looking at a 180gallon 72x24x23(I think that the height) or a 220gallon 84x24x23. I want the 220 but the price may not allow that to happen.

So my question it should I build a wood stand or a metal stand? I have the help to do both labor free with my friends dad. I just need to decide.

Nether will be skinned for now and I will have a 37 gallon sump if that helps your decision.

Depends on which you like more. Either will do the job just fine. I'm not 100% on this, but it would be a lot cheaper for me to use wood, so that's what I would go with.

Yeah i know wood would be easyer for me to build as i could do it. The metal one i would have to have done by a friend. I was just thinking about longterm but if a wood one is done right it could last just as long.

wood is what i have done and it will last as long as metal if not longer!
