standard heater for a 150G tank

like the title says. what is the recommended heater for a 150G tank.

depending where your tank is located. id say get 2 250s

Really just depends on how much heating you need (main factor being degree difference between room and water temperature). Having said that in general I would say two 200w or two 250w. One 300 would probably do it as well, but I prefer to use dual heaters.

I agree! If ones fails you always have a backup.

However many & whatever wattage you get, dont cheap out on the quality! I personally like Hydor Theo heaters, but some of the big tank guys like other brands...
