I am in the process of builking a fish room with over 100 tanks. I have 10s, 15s and 20 gallon long tanks that I will be putting on central filtration systems. I have access to all of the 3/4 inch marine plywood that I can use but I need to know what demensions that I should cut the plywood for the stands? I intend to set the tanks "at end" so that only their small side will show. Are there any members out there that can give me some guidience in this matter?

wow this sounds like a HUGE project. If you look through the mfk articles there is a guy thats building a sting ray breeding facility. Part of his setup he has loads of tanks. Maybe that'll help

How many of each are you going to have? Also, do you intend to go 2, 3 or 4 tall? What is the space you have available to work with?

i try to keep stanks outta my fish room... it already has that fishy odor

cant help with any plans, but absolutely take pictures and share please!!!

My computer bit the dust and I am at the mercy of getting on line at the local library (there is a college across the street from the library) so I do not alswys have an oppertunity to get on line and then my mail box is usually overflowing. I am planning on putting the tank so that they show on the short side with about 3 between slegs. and have 3 layers of tanks lwith the filtration systems on the floor. I have a radial arm saw that I can cut the 3/4 inch marine plywood to any size that I want but I wish to make sure thaqt the stand will be sturdy enough while also giving me enough room to work in tnhe tanks. I am thinking about cutting stripa of plywood into 2 inch strips and gluing and screwing 3 strip[s together with a strip on top of these 3 strip[s giving me a "board of 271/4 inches by 2&1/4 inch. Do you think that this will be sturdy enough to hole the weight of the tanks when they are full of water? Or should I make them larger? Any imput would be great.
