what do you guys use as a staple for the Festae you are growing out?

Hikari Bio Gold or NLS Cichlid Formula

I use the same. I also feed broken up hikari massivore

If they're very small like most vendors are carrying, I would feed NLS Grow.

Giving the newly hatched fry HBH baby food(used to use Hikari first bites) and frozen baby brine. My bigger peruvian grow outs started on Spectrum Grow. Most of the bigger stuff eats everything from biogold, hikaring singing pellet, freeze dried krill, etc. However, my wild caught spawning female won't touch anything but massivore, occasionally she will eat another pellet if it sinks.
