Star Fish Spawn

Hello everyone. I went to check on my 225 reef tank and saw this tiny guy crawling up the side. I can't remember what kind of star fish that are in the tank I just know that they like to burry themselves under the sand. The tank lights don't come on till 12 sorry

I've got some of those in my reef tank also im not sure what they are called

One of my LFS has those in a macro tank. There are like 2000 of them in a 20 gal its nuts. I think they are a pest starfish but im not 100%. Dont know the name of them either.

i don't think they harm anything they don't get real big the biggest one that i have seen was under an inch and yes they populate like crazy

Asterina stars. There not bad 99/100 times they just eat detritus and are good janitors. There is one species that eats coral. Just keep an eye out. If they get out of control get a harlequin shrimp
