Im trying to grow star moss in my tank and was wondering how many hours should my aquarium light be on?

That question can't be answered until you provide some information. What type of lights? Watts? Size of your tank (including depth)? Kelvin rating? Lighting is very complicated. And please read the stickies first. There is a ton of information about lighting.
