ive read alot about star polyps and light and it goes all over from low light to intense light, i was wondering if a wave point 8 watt high output light would be enough for a star polyp?

They are so hardy, that they can thrive in low light.
I had mine in just a t8 light fixture for the longest time, not caring about them and they are still fine and dandy.

Star polyps will grow in pretty much any condition. They are a lot like Kenya trees in a sense that they grow like weeds and can take over your tank without regular fraging
