Starange wurms, can you help?

I set up a used twenty, and now I have these tiny strange brown wurm things on all my plants, driftwood, etc. The fish is fine, but it is not plesent to look at. It could be just detritus shot out of the filters when I changed media, but I don't know. If they are wurms, I know they are my brethren but I want them gone any way.

I dont know what brown worms you're talking about.

I only know about Planaria. They are teeny little white worms that hang on to the glass and decor.
They're a result of overfeeding or dirty water.
Planaria are harmless and can be taken care of with frequent water changes and fasting your fish a few days.
Once they're gone, maintain the tank on a regular basis and be sure not to overfeed.

Other than that, i dont know what they would be since Planaria are white, not brown.

i think i know what your talkin bout man

it does sound like detritis to me
 
I think it is detritus too, from all the commotion of filling the tank and transering gravel.
 
Sounds like it, just clean the tank up and make it look all nice.
 
It was just crap, it looks fine now.
 
That's not true, I just wanted to write a post with strange misspelled. ARRRGH! LOL
