stargazer !!!!!!!!!!!

ok ive been feeding my stargazer goldfish but i would really like some fromzen food for it.. maybe squid or silversides? well its about 6-7 inches and im sick of goldfish hey have almost wiped out and they have wiped out my 20g that i hold them in so i would like some non live food ideas

Totaly wrong section for stargazer goldfish help. But as for non live food just give it big fish pellets.

Lol now that would make more sence (as who would feed squid to a gold fish... just not worth it)

If you mean one of these guys?
You can always try putting the smelt or squid on a feeding stick and try to wave it in front of em. If it's hungry enough it should take the food from the feeding stick or you can try to feed it small market shrimps, it should sort of turn sideways and eat them off the bottom of the tank. Sort of like how an angler feeds on chopped up food.

ya its like that but alot more blue i dont think to many ppl even kno about them let alone have them i dont have any updated pics so i cant get any but whats smelt?

smelt are basically like silversides... little planktivore fishes caught for fish and human food
