Starphire Glass VS Regular Glass

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Considering it's for a sales ad, I think it's greatly exaggerated. They could have done a real demo using real glass and a real object behind the two, but it more than likely would not have looked so drastic as the image they used.

the effect is diffent with water and lights shining through it. i have a tank with 1" thick regular glass and it doesnt even darken up that much. i have no pics though as i have not filled it.

My lfs has all their glass saltwater tanks starphire, except for one which got smashed by a 3 year old. There is an amazing difference! Night and day.

i am a glassman.the starphire glass is a LITLE bit clearer.the big differece is on the edge.it looks 'crystal' instead of green.if you have a lightning system that actually let light enter the edgeof starphire, the diference will be a bit better..
the more light there is the better the diference
make sense?need to work my english:irked:

Ha, lol.

This is a better comparison....
