Here it is. The start of my indoor pond. Now i am just trying to find a source locally for the liner. Not opposed to using something other than the "true" pond liner. I am on a budget. So any ideas would be great. Let me know what you guys think.

Gotta love a pond in the middle of your kitchen lol

Start with the bottom. Is that just 4 sides and no bottom? Or is their a piece of wood down there screwed to the bottom 2x4's? Need to do something down there to prevent the water from bowing the large sides apart.

Its just 4 sides at the moment. Wasn't sure if it realy needed to have a bottom since i am only going to be putting about 18 inches of water in it. this is my first attempt at a pond. The sides are 24 inches tall. the demensions are 7 by 3 by 24inches. I am going to be framing the top with 2 by 6's once the liner is in, to act like a seating area. Also i am going to be lining the entire thing with insulation foam to hold in the heat.

Get another sheet of OSB to span the bottom of the pond. Flip it over and screw it to the 2x4's.

Add a few more 2x4's to span the sides between the upper and lower 2x4's.

Add some 2x4's to span between the upper and lower 2x4's in the corners.

Finally get a couple 2x4's to span across the top to hold both long sides together.

That should hopefully prevent that from blowing apart.
