They are fairly easy to keep but you have to keep up with the water changes as they are prone to HITH (Hole in the head) disease. They grow very fast and need to be fed different kinds of food such as pellets, krill, beefheart, worms, crickets, etc... Goldfish are even easier to keep as they dont require a heater... but O's have much better personality.
