Any recomendations for starter food for a 2 in. Crenicichla Johanna. I have tried blood worms and Hikari Sinking Carnivor pellets, I didn't see him eat either one.

You might want to try cut up silversides, or frozen prawn. If he isn't looking skinny you can probably starve him untill he accepts these foods, but if he is looking thin I would give him some live guppys or rosy, even live ghost shrimp.

try live blood worms or black worms and some small ghost shrimp...they should eat anyting though

Pikes are delicate when they are small, so try not to miss any feedings. Need to get it eating el pronto! Mysis shrimp, brine, live blackwords, glass shrimp and guppies are all great mentions. Keep the guppies as a last resort though. Also, you could buy some garlic extract, some LFS sell it, add one drop to the food. It normally enticies eating. Like was stated though, pikes are greedy!
