I have a 100g tank and am looking to put some blue haps (ahli) in the tank. I would like to get some recommendations on how many I should put with my male and what other tank mates will make this tank a nice home for my blue hap???? Please HELP if you can with suggestions!!!

Thanks!

we have had a full tank with a variety, large variety of haps and mbunas with them...hH.Cyrtocara moorii, make fine tanks mates and might keep their aggression in check if it breaks out..main thing is make sure you have plenty, plenty of rocks and territories, escape routes ect.....sometimes ya just got to learn by experience, and sometimes a fish will just end up more aggressive than another of its own kind....like sizes brought in together normally will be okay....just make sure ya have a spare tank running just in case!

in a 100g tank you can make an impressive hap tank and almost al haps can ve keept together, just studied them a lot to try to skip hyperaggressive species like nimbochromis venustus.. its a gorgeus fish but very aggressive..

tankmates can be c. mooris, d. compressiceps, borleyi and many more.

read as much as possible about them on this site and go from there so many people have so many different opinions just go search the info and ask the right people.
