Hey all,
So I made the move to South East Asia from NY and switching back to the fresh water bug that bit me when I was a kid. I decided on a Super Red Arowana set up and wanted to share some specs and ask some questions so any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

Tank: 180cmX70cmX70cm
Sump Filtration 70cmX40cmX40cm with center grow tank before return, my thoughts on this is like reef systems that I've done in the past but in this case to grow out additional aggressive plants to provide nutrient reduction rather than skimming.
12K spectrum LED lighting at roughly 120 watts.
Flow rate of 300 gallons per hours from drop to return
Co2 regulator

Inhabitants:
I want to build a planted system in a "U" arc from side to side with varies local aquatic plants.
1 Super Red Juvie 8cm to 15cm
8 Clown Loaches
50 Neon

Yes, I know that the SR will eventually/possibly eat the Neons but I'm thinking early stages that I would be able to integrate the fishes together. I have a friend that has a RTG 33cm that has lived with 20 Tetras for over 2 years now without a hitch though I understand the risks.

My question is surrounding the Clown Loaches, size to size is a factor and the SR will grow quicker than the CLs but I'm hearing mixed stories about them getting along in a system. Yay or Nay?

Other options on tank mates for the SR?

My requirements are to keep 9 main fish, I would prefer the 8 fish to be shoals of 1 breed and I'm assuming that 220 plus gallons at 6 feet should be acceptable.

Any help is good help, Thanks Guys!
