starting another 75

starting another 75 soon and i want some ideas on setups.Im going to put 1 or two large cichlids in there.what would u use for subtrates.I want to use black sand,and for filters use 2 ac 500s and 1 magnum pro 250.what kind of fish would be good for this setup
 
Cichlid-Forum has "recipes" for 75 gallon cichlid tanks that range from Africans to South Americans to tankbusters.

I've always wanted to have a Dovii. They seem very personable and interactive. A dovii could live in a 75 by itself for quite a while.

If you wanted more of a community, you could get Severums or Acaras, and some oddball fish for the bottom- bichirs or larger cats like Pictus cats.

i dident get much info on the other post so i studied a new one.I seemed to get more on this one so far.Keep giving me ideas,im liking this so far.how many gt actually could fit in the 75
 
use large rocks so that they can get them in their mouths. keep them from digging. make sure you get enough filtration. large cichlids put off alot of watste. post pic when your done.
 
I will and i always use large filtration.Im a big fan of that theory;)


on this tank im going to use two ac 500 and a magnum canister
