55 gallon asian planted tank...gouramis and rainbow fish barbs ...loaches....maybe peacock eel..malayasian drift wood... wanted to use asian plants only..like jungle val..what are some good asian plants..this will be a dirt tank wwith great lighting ..no co2...

any help? native asian plants?
Java ferns work well and are easy to care for. Come in a number of varieties. I have three types in my tank. The "standard" java fern, narrow leaf, and trifolia. Just make sure you attach them to something like rocks or driftwood. If you bury the roots in the substrate, they will slowly, or in some cases, not so slowly, die.

I can't help ya with any plant choices but I'm digging your screen name.

I'm not sure if you can find Native Asian plants around your area but, water lily (find the dwarf species). pennywort, duck weed for top surface, java fern, Anacharis, hornwort...
