Starting from fresh

Just got resituated, lost all my fish/rays in a bad house flood about a year ago. Picked up new rays (female motoro, male humerosa or orb...most likely orb) but i haven't had to deal with new ones for years. how much time should i give them to be shy and bury themselves before being concerned? The female is eating black worms andd cut up night crawlers but the male is having issues. have had the female 2 weeks, male a few days. tank is set and ready to go, but it's been so long i can't remember how long it took my old pair to acclimate.

i wouldn't worry to much unless more than a week goes by and your having the same issue with him. I had 1 ray burry herself for about 2 months but she started eating cut up earth worms about 2 weeks after i bought her.
