starting magnum 350

How do u start a magnum 350 canister.

when you twist the bottom it will turn on. Turn t on for 5 sec then turn it off and let it fill. then turn it back on again.

i got it at a garage sale.so do i have to fill it up all the way

Fill the cannister up to the line that is molded on it then turn it on for 5 seconds to release the rest of the air and then turn it on again and your good to go.

the reason for letting it run for 5 secs then shutting down is to burp all trapped air out. you will notice that after it is turned off the itake tube inside the tank will bubble and the water level inside the mag will rise a bit. you may need to do this a few times to get all of the air out. Sometimes I even have to turn off, unlock the mag canister from the base and tilt it to the side just to get a few more air bubbles out.
