I´m not sure about posting this here but I think some of the info and photos to come will benefit those who are doing it themselfs. :)

Anyway, I´am startin my fishroom, the room is 20m2 (sorry I live in Iceland and we use the metric system). I now have 15 tanks at home and most of those will stay there.

The first tank I set up is my 1000 l. (250 gal I think) tank.

I made room for two tanks below it.

The 3d background was a bit to short so I put stones under it.

My dump filter filled with wool, sponges and bioballs. Pump, heater and owerflow are placed behind the background.

Filling with water, all looks good.

Next I Built a stand for three 2x 150 l. tanks.
The water looks green beacause I painted tha back of the tanks green.

Owerflows on all tanks.

Soon to come photos of the ten 145 l. tanks I got today.

I love the racks. Did you make those yourself? Wood or metal?

The brackets that support the dump filter compartments are a stroke of genius. Very economical, simple and easy to fabricate. How did you attach them to the wall?

Can you show some pictures of your plumbing? I'm curious about your flow rates and what kind of fish you will be stocking?

Looks GREAT so far. Thanks for sharing and keep us posted

The racks are made from timber with metal supporting the corners. Timber I use is 45x95mm for bigger tanks and 35x75mm for tanks under 300 liters. Racks are tied to the wall so they are good for the Icelandic earthquakes. :)

The brackets that support the dump filter are of aluminum 40x40x4mm tied to the wall. All boxes are loose and can be taken out for cleaning etc.
the boxes come from Ikea and I stole them from my childrens room. :naughty:

I put few of my fish in those tanks today, in the big one, three small oscars (4-6") small Rtc and Clown-kniwe (8").
In the other tanks some of my african cichlids and livebearers that I comercally breed.

Today I made a rack for three 50 gal. tanks. Photos later. I will also try to post photos of my rack building and glass replacement for some of my broken tanks I had in storage and I´m now repairing.

Nice dude. Maybe just maybe I will get to making a fish room(or at least build stands for the tanks, to make it more of a fish room, not a room with tanks on the ground, lol). Nice stands though, and WHAT IS THAT A 20 oz. PEPSI CAN!!!!!!!!!!:WHOA: WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wish we had them in the U.S.

I got 10 new 35 gal tanks today.
