i have to get rid of all my wounderful fish. Ya see things are really tight right now and I'm forced to scale dwn. I hate this! However I'm trying to look on the the bright side of things. can start over with new fish just not as many. I currently have 12 tanks running. My electric bill is outragous. sumtimes 3-500 a month. While i do kno its nt all fish they still contribute. I think im going to do apistos and discus. Just to stay focused for awhile. I plan to keep my lung dats and a few polys, but most of the cichlids must go. This is sad day. But i will be back.:(:(:(

try making a cheaper system, make your own filter out of one of your tanks get a decent water pump and lots of pvc pipe and one boiler (its goes in the water like a heater but in where the pump is, perferabley just before the pump.) that way all your tanks run of one fiter and heater. this would cut your bill drematicly.

This may not work if you need diferent water paramounts eg african vs american. and also is harder if a paraiste outbreak or diesease and requirs mor mainese on your filter but is hell of a lot cheaper.
