So after letting the tank sit for 3 or 4 months after that little mystery death of my first fish, yesterday I officially started over. The original inverts are still alive and well:
-Decorater Spider Crab
-Green Brittle Star
-Cleaning Crew
I went in there just wide eyed looking for something cool and that moved, I've always had "lazy fish" since I've been keeping fish. Found a beautfil Radiata Lionfish about 3" said I want.... looked at the tank and someone already bot him so that was out of the question he had a Volitian but that's not what I wanted. Came across the baddest looking Eel I've ever seen! It was a foot long Jewel Moray and at least 6 inches around and just laid back was in a tank with a couple butterfly's and were sharing the same cave! But with a $100 price tag I had to pass cause I wasn't really sure about Jewel care(I know alot about Eels I just didn't know enough about Jewels to be perfectly comfy buying one, Now I do after reading up non stop about them and will be buying him soon). Then I saw a Koran Angel and it caught my eye something about the little guy just made me get him. He's spunky and has alot of personnality so I said bag um! Lucky to say I now have my first new fish after my start over! I named him "Spunky" after Rocko's dog on Rocko's Modern Life and the fact the little guy is swimming non stop! Also picked up a Chocolate-Chip Star and a few more snails after some of mine started slacking lately
I would supply pics but the little bugger does not stop moving long enough for me to take one that doesn't look like a blue streak on the screen.
