Hey guys/girls, i just got rid of the last two fish i had few weeks ago. Spent a day scrubing and cleaning everything in my tank. I just bought a Juruense Catfish and a Red Tail Barracuda, what other fish would be a good choice to add? I wanna buy sting rays, but i dont think im ready to convert to sand yet. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I guess good place to start would be telling members here what size tank you have? otherwise bit hard to give you any solid suggestions?

Rays and big cats are alwaya a big no no... and since you cleaned everything I'm assumeing that includes your filters so the tank is uncycled? The bio-load from the Jur alone is going to challenge just about any filtration you have on that tank. maybe not now but very soon.

Filtration i never cleaned. I only changed the cartriges on my 400's. As for what kind of fish, i wanna keep the predatory fish. I had cichilds once before but dont want them. What would be good fish to keep with them?

He'd still have live bacteria in the gravel and what not. I think?

time to recycle, and rethink your stock, the cat you have will prob outgrow, and depending on what you consider predators, anything from a shoal of piranhas to maybe a wolf would be good. but i dont see much working with that cat, which you wont be able to keep for life in that tank anyways. just my .02
