starting up a 250 gal what should i get

No suggestions for cichlids, but a 20 inch Polypterus would be my vote!

If you want a monster an umbee or male dovii could easily fill the bill. I'm pretty sure in a 250 though the dovii would eventually be the only fish in there.

youll probly have lots of dead fish one day just sayin. that's literally murderers row in too small of a tank

Jardini here goes for 70 or 80 bucks I think. Here being Texas.
