Total so far = 572.84 with tax.

Will be getting the skimmer and a canister filter from someone else. I have a heater too.

Anything else I need to add as far as equipment is concerned?

Is that light good for some soft polyps?

Those Koralias are too small and won't do much good. Get the Koralia 3's that push 850.

Other than that equipment look pretty good. A quality skimmer will go a long way toward success, so without knowing the brand and model there I can't fully say you are good to go.

T5's should be enough light in a shallow tank like yours to grow some polyps.

He told me AquaC EV-180 on the skimmer. He had it on a 60 gallon tank.

WOW!!!

lol that is plenty and a great skimmer. You should be more than good to go on a 40 gallon.

might sound silly, but you didn't mention salt so I figured I'ld remind you that you need it...

Nah... I figured I'd try making them freshies. LOL. Yes I didn't bother to mention it because I figured that everyone knew that I knew that I needed to have salt in a marine tank. I plan on using Instant Ocean or premixed salt water at my LFS.
