Went to my regular fish store last week and saw this Clown Loach at 1.5" so skinny, to a point where I can see his bone structure. The skin (do you even call it skin?) at the top right behind his eyes actually goes in around the bone structure, skinny to that point!

They basically gave me the poor thing. I came home, got a small bucket, put up a cycled filter on there, and put the temperature to almost 85F and was treating him with salt for about three days. During the time he did not eat anything: I tried flakes, pellets, and frozen blood worms.

Today I put him in the tank with the rest of my Clown Loaches and they accepted him no problem, they races back and forth in a bunch for a while. But this guy would swim for a bit and go ahead and hide under some rock while everyone else keeps going on about their business.

Went to the store today and got some live blood worms and threw them in the tank, everyone was going nuts chewing on them. I threw enough in there so EVERYONE would get a chance to eat and then some, having him in mind. First of all I had to stick my hand in there and pull him from under the driftwood and force him to swim toward the direction of the worms. He got there, and the worms are just dangling around him and he refuses to eat.

Now, I tried to take some pictures of him but all of them came out blurry but this one. The picture does show that he is in horrid shape but trust me, it is much worse then what shows on the picture. Oh, ignore the fat ass Cory.

Any idea what is happening?

Two things come to mind, one is parasites and an anti parasite med like parasite guard might work, it would be to late for the medicated food, it might be to late anyway as once a fish has reached that stage they seldom recover. The other thing is piscine tuberculosis, there is no cure for that.
The BIG thing that comes to mind is get it out of your community tank!!! Put it in quarantine!
