Just came back from 5 days vacation and get to this pile first meal in last 5 days. They must be starving.

that's true. I finally had ultima 1000 setup before vacation, and thanks for 1/15hp pump shipped to me. I was worried maybe its too strong but turned out perfect. Gotta trust the expert.
I keep 2 fx5 running for bio purpose, raise up the intake to about mid tank level so don't suck up dirty waste from the bottom. Leave that for the ultima to do the job. Now backwash and water change
will only take 5 min a week.

I like how you rate peoples experience on how long they have been on this site, Im not saying he's right or wrong but just cause hes new doesn't mean he doesn't know what he's talking about. Just think, someone could be here for 10 years and they never had a fish in their life, does that mean they know what they are talking about?

thanks for the advise. they can actually eat a lot believe or not. what was shown in video actually about 25% of this meal. after the video was taken i threw in 3 more handfuls of massivore. I usually feed until only about 3 or 4 bichirs are still looking for food while the rest are done eating. left over food in tank is never acceptable.
