I got myself a marbled motoro about 2 months ago and she is doing well but only taking nightcrawlers and blackworms. I've been starving her for 5 days now and have tried giving her market shrimp twice including tonight, still nothing. Still very active up and down the tank walls but I'm worried since she still won't take the shrimp....doesn't seem interested at all.

I know they can go quite some time without food but like a lot of people I just get nervous. For those of you who are familiar with my recent issues I was having all is well now just a shame I lost my male motoro.

Any suggestions to get her to take shrimp?

Other than the trick in that thread I showed you I got nothing.

If anything I would still feed her twice a day but do crawlers in the morning and shrimp ONLY at night she will eventually catch on. I really don't like the idea of starving rays

I tried wrapping a worm into a small piece of shrimp but it didn't work out so well lol. I LOVE that idea of worms in the morning and shrimp at night though. I'm sure in time she will catch on and she won't be "starved" either......again, thanks for the advice.

I mixed shrimp with nightcrawlers, let it stay together overnight, and only feed the shrimps.. Then the shrimp will smell like worms, and bang shes over..

Try something else. Maybe Tilapia. Mine took along time to eat shrimp. Some still wont eat it. But they did take to Tilapia and its not expensive. I buy 4lbs bags at walmart for 11 dollars, or can get 2lbs bags for half that..
