WELL I STARVED THEM FOR ABOUT 3 WEEKS WITH NO FOOD OR NOTHING I HAVE 3 ORINOS AND A TEMY..THE TEMY EATS EVERTHING I PUT IN BUT ORINOS ARE PICKY AND ONLY EAT FEEDERS...TODAY I BOUGHT SOME FREEZ DRIED SHRIMP AND THE ORINO ARE EATING THEM WOOOT...SO NOW MY ? IS SHOULD I JUST PUT THEM ON A FREEZ DRIED SHRIMP DIET? IS THAT HEALTH FOR THEM..AND IF I EVER FEED THEM FEEDERS AGAIN WILL THEY GO BACK TO NOT WANTING TO EAT ANYTHING EALSE...THANKS IM A NOOB SO ANY SUGGESTION WOULD HELP THANKS..

your caps lock is stuck. krill is healthy enough to be a main diet. try some cut up shrimp too.

I was dropping one fish at a time in to my Mono until he got used to the rhythm. After he became accustomed to the process I started alternating, throwing fish, fish, cube, fish, fish, and so on until I got him to just eat whatever I chucked in there. I slowly worked more and more cubes in the process until he was just taking them. Everything was great until I threw a few feeders in a couple months later as a treat and was never able to get him to go back. It's exactly like quitting smoking for me, after you stop don't go back, it may never happen again.
