It has been a while since I had to play this game with any fish. I have a very healthy eight inch african pike that I want to get onto fish filets and pellets. Right now it will take Krill or anything alive. How long can I starve this fish comfortably? I was thinking upwards of two weeks. Right now he will strike white fish filet and frozen silversides, but won't eat them. No interest in pellets. Hopefully it won't take too much work to switch him over.
. At 8 inches 2 weeks sounds about right. Keep trying on the pellets though. Maybe smash them up and stuff them in something? How large a pellet?
