An LFS near me just brought in baby PBBs, about 2-2.5 inches. The guy has a pretty good bichir connect, always bringing bichir species not commonly found like weeksii or teugulsi at nice 8+ inch sizes. Also seems to be ahead of the party by a few weeks like the baby Ansorgii onslaught not long ago.

Wondering if the same is coming for captive bred PBBs in the near future? Have they started being successfully bred in the states or being shipped in? I obviously want to go buy one but it’s commanding a steep price tag!

CB pbb been out for sometime now, usually come in at that size. I remember 3”-5” was price at $180 vs a WC 10”-12” at $200.

It is the first time I’ve seen them under 12 inches being available online or in person, these are for $150
