Ping Tong National Public Aquarium is located at few miles away from the famous Ken-Ting National Park at southern Taiwan. There are huge tanks which keep whale shark, Beluka whales and many other marine fishes (and creature). The largest tank is around 1.5 million gallons. There are some tunnels go through the tanks which tourists can walk through the tanks and enjoy watching the fishes. The aquarium allow tourists sleep in certain spots in the aquarium (need to make reservation in advance). We (my family) arranged to slip right under the tunnel for a night. That's quite an experience when you wake up in the morning and see some nurse sharks, groupers, tangs and many others cruising right above you. Imagine sleeping under 1.5M gallons of water, can you feel the “pressure”…..

Feeding stingrays (the guide said it’s very dangerous feeding stingrays, coz they grab food rudely to the diver (much dangerous than feeding sharks)

That’s about the experience, thanks for your time!!! If you have chance to visit Taiwan, don’t forget to visit Kenting area (beach, mountain, public aquarium).

SWEET:D

WOW ... that's impressive!

I've been to that aquarium, but I didn't know that you could actually sleep inside! It must have been quite an experience..

It will definitely be on my list of things to do next time I'm down south ... if I can convince my fiance of course! ;)

thanks for sharing bro! :D
