Im deciding to stay away from mfk for away. I like the community and meet some new people but starting to feel like an outsider looking in. So I figured I go away for a while and if I do come back do it with a bang. I've got a red Texas and festae breeding projects in the works so for now I'm gunna give that all my attention.

Why leave when you feel like an outsider? Just stick around, post stuff, and people will get to know you a little better.

Mfk is where all outsider meet "in".
Cmon keep us updated about your breeding efforts , we will cheer you on and learn a few new things in the process.

You guys made some good points. What mostly did it for me is the fact is whenever I post a thread or post on someone else it become a dead thread. Meaning the convocation just stops or no one seems to show any interest. Mfk is a great place to learn a lot I know I sure have learned a lot.

That happens to me all the time! All I can say is that over the 3 years on MFK I've learned a lot!

This is normal, have you considered that maybe the reply you put in might be so clear in what you want to convey that it warrants no further discussion.
Just putting this in positive light.
Don't get disheartened over such a trivial matter. Just keep at it.

And yeah ! Welcome back to MFK ;)

Honestly I am on more fish related forums than anyone I know. At least three reef ones, more than one "monster fish" ones, a planted tank one, pufferfish one, native fish one, great lakes (midwest) one, three different wisconsin state related ones...

As far as getting responses - MFK has to be one of my better experiences. Try posting on R 2 R. If you are not a member of the "good ole boys" club you wont even get a view. Its like prodding a dead cow for info.

I like that forum...but seriously have stuff go dead there all the time. I hate that feeling too.
