stealin aro's food, BEASTY Blood parrots

my arowana is new and i try to feed it feeder fish for fun but my 6-8inch blood parrot steal its food. My blood parrots are so beasty, i never knew they killed and ate feeder fishes. the feeder fishes are about 3-4 inches. OMG i thought blood parrots were always docile fish taht ate only dry food like pellets. they are BEASTY my arowana hasn't eatin yet its been like a week but it probably gettin use to the tank. so i just need to give it time.

thats why i never keep those kind of fish anymore... drama when it comes to feeding others

Maybe try some superworms first, crikets are very addictive to aro's and once they start eating them it's hard to change there food again. Try feeding your parrots pellets first and get them full before you break out the aro's food. How big is your aro? If he is larger that 8-9" thay can fast for a long time, I had some of my larger aro's when I moved them not eat for a month - doing very well now. Just be patient and all should be good , just be sure to maintain good water condition.

the silver aro is 20 inches. yea i think imma feed the aro after i feed my parrots pellets. if i feed carrots to the aro the parrots will probably eat it too lOl.i hasn't eaten yet still soi'll give it another week till i give it crack
