Steatocranus Tinanti eggs!!!!!

I have been waiting a long time to finely get these guys to breed..It has been nearly a year sens i got them as little guys just around 2 inches...courting behavior has been going on for months ..and finely today after a large water change I found eggs!!!

5-7 days until hatching 11-14 days before free swimming...more updates to come!

fingers crossed that they are good enough parents to keep the bn pleco away.

thank you...guess these guys a pretty over looked int he hobby..it took me to years to get these guys mature..and im ssssooo excited i finely got eggs!!

all eggs made it threw the night and nothing has turned white!!

thank you ^_^....you don't really see this species in general let alone a spawn..been waiting two years for them to mature and pick mates..truly amazing group behaviors in these fish.

Thank you!..I nearly gave up on these guys I have been waiting so long,

Was reading up about a year ago that study found that they breed when bromic pressure drops for a storm ..well just so happened they spawned the day a large storm rolled in...

OH! and i think another pair in the tank have eggs under a log!!!!!
