hey all! i've read countless forum entries and articles linked to this site, but up until yesterday, never kept any fish that got big enough to be what i would consider monsters, so i decided to join finally. Currently I have a 220 gal. w/ 55 gallon sump tank (filled approx. halfway) stocked with 5 green terrors (3to4" female & 4 others are 1.5" and the sex is unknown at this point), a redtail shark (5"), spotted pleco (5"), another pleco that was given to me(4-5")...i will be posting pics and asking for help with an i.d. on that soon lol...and now, finally, a dovii (3")!!!

i know at some point that stock list will need to be thinned out (if the dovii doesnt thin it out first, that is) but for now they all get along fine aside from the redtail shark chasing the little ones around...even watched it back the dovii into the corner of the tank last night!

I've kept oscars on and off for years. Had a breeding pair of jack dempseys at one point, a pacu back in high school, and even tried a african cich. comm. tank recently before i upgraded the tank from a 125 to the 220 i have now (the constant cleaning was too much to keep up with and took the fun out of the hobby)

i wouldnt call myself an expert by any means, but i will try to help and chime in as much as possible. I will be the guy asking lots of questions for sure though lol

Welcome aboard! Sounds like you have some great experience already. Looking forward to future posts
