1. Look at your grow out tank and say I think My jaguar is ready to move.
2. Grab a net and move him to the big tank.
3. After putting him in the big tank knock your net in to a bucket of mop water. *Trash now*
4. Walk around to enjoy your jag.
5. See you where wrong and you have about 5 seconds to save his life.
6. Remember step 3 frown.
7. Spend 1 hour with 2 panes of glass, one sheet of plastic, and your daughter sand bucket scaring the other fish and attempting to trap the baby jag in a 7' tank with no net.

Steps to make day better.
1. finally catch jag.
2. put him back in grow out tank.
3. see everyone came out free of harm.

I did move the bumble bee Cichlid successfully today. I ironically am finally at a point where I have a backup for everything and I never thought about nets. I could have any single component fail in any of my tanks and I have replacement parts on hand. I can count on 1 finger how many times in the past year I have even thought about using a net so it was just not one of those things I considered keeping extra of until now.

Pick up some more nets. I actually am getting nets for my large tank from Walmart. They sell 5'-6' minnow nets that have a special coating to not erode In water. It's on a mop handle. They are also only $10! While an aquarium made counterpart would cost you well over $100.
