I have a male sailfin molly in with 3 sailfin females. They have been in the tank for 3 months now and haven't bred. They are in a 30 gallon tank that has plenty of plants for fry as well as a decoration they can go in. There is plenty of swimming room for the adults.
I keep this tank salted at .003 using marine salt and they seem to be thriving in their tank. I do weekly water changes of 10-15%. I feed them flakes, spirulina, daphnia, vegie flakes, shrimp pellets and frozen food, alternating the food to keep it interesting for them.
Any idea why they haven't bred? Do I need to get another male and some more females?
