I remember we used to have a big contingent of Croc Hunter fans here back in the day, I’m sure there’s still some of you out there. Anyone watching the marathon on Animal Planet right now? About the only good thing I’ve seen on that channel in a very long time.

I'm personally a Steve Irwin fan but also a fan of what his family is doing now.

I watched him extensively when I was a tot, had his big book that came with a DVD and it was awesome. I believe he is the reason why I'm so damn crazy about animals today, he was pure awesome. I'm sure he's dearly missed...

Hello; Well I guess I am the grinch. I thought he should have left the animals alone. Never was in favor of the way his TV shows had him chasing and picking the animals up. I figured one of the snakes would get him but it turned out to be a stingray.
In the sense of disclosure I did much the same thing when a boy. I would catch snakes and stuff with my hands. Had a fair collection of them for a while. It all came to a stop one day at lunch. I had been out catching snakes and had some in a shoe box which I put on the floor. My dad happened to be home and one of the snakes got out. My dad went nuts when he learned what I had in the basement. Since I was very much afraid of him I got rid of the snakes. I never brought the venomous snakes home even tho I did catch a few.

His shows were entertaining in a way.
