i woult to try to keep a channa stewartii with a channa aruntimaculata.

but maybe arunti can grow and kill stewartii,

so.

1 ) any agressive channa with stewartii ? on 400 litres ?
( i don't want to keep bleheri)

- others agressive fishes with stewartii? chiclid? oscar?

2) can i keep a channa stewarti alone in 100 litre ?

3) if i put arunti. in 400 litres. any channa compatible? or other fishes?

thanks (sorry bad english)

aurantis usually kill everything except for other aurantis, i don't think your stewartii will survive

Are you sure...? My former 13" auranti back in 2006 were mix with 12" emperors and 10" forest snakeheads before the auranti didn't bother anything. The auranti actually got killed by the asiatica when I added the asiatica. Now it's hard to find snakeheads in BC compare from 2007 and below.

really? hmm.. how big was your tank? If it's pretty packed with fish there isn't usually a lot of fighting? anyways, most of the accounts i've heard say that the auranti kills all the other inhabitants, i remember one guy had 4 18" pleuros that were all killed by a 16" auranti, it wasn't a good combination to begin with but just says something about the aggression of aurantis. (the tank was pretty large though, probably 300gallons+)

That was back in 2006, tank was 210g tank was only for snakeheads. Don't even pack my fish tank back then only started doing JDM tank on late 2008.

well, normally i sugest species only however my auranti is house with several species, and although he's clearly a tough fish he doesnt bother any other fish, he was most agressive with the female auranti, and now even smaller fish seem fine, as long as he cant swallow it hole he doent bother tank mates at all,

My asiatica is the opposite, destroies anything in that tank, even a pleco twice his size and that same pleco lived with turtles and a caiman unharmed lol,

More then anything it's a risk, so if your willing to risk it try it,
