So I think my group of 5 stewartiis have formed a pair now.

2 of them are swimming around each others, like they are kind of dancing. Before this started, the one who i think is a female had kind of concuered half of the aquarium. Now she allows the male to be there, and they look like a couple.

Does this sound right to you, that they have formed a pair?

The tank is 720 liters, so what are the chances of keeping the 3 other stawertiis?

Congrats , it sounds like your right , your description is exactly what I would expect to see when a pair forms.

I would remove the others because aggression will continue to escalate . In a 720l with enough cover and hides they may last a while but will not be allowed out of hiding and will get brutally attacked seen or found by the pair who will actively search for them until. Eventually the spares will be killed.
