stick to the wolf or go to something else

I currenting have a 9 inch mala wolf. it was tank raised, born in a tank. good coloring etc etc. he is a beast, he is my first fish. so i kinda am not sure if i want to get rid of him. but i am looking into other things and getting rid of him.

so what would you do.

keep the mala. or get

either of these unless u have something else that will seem to fit in with these

afaica pike
northern pike
payara
bowfin
red tail barccuda
aro
.....
 
This is how I feel with my Buttikoferi, He was living in a 10 gal and now a 20L and about to go into a 65. But he has been the king of the jungle for a while and now i realized that I cant put him in a tank with anyone without him killing them.
 
I would not have traded in my Mala for any of those fish you listed. Actually, would not have traded for 90% of the fish I can name. Hold on to your Wolf. Grow it out until 13" or over, thats when they start to add serious bulk. If you are anything like me you will appreciate it when your friends lean on your tank and have the $h!^ scared out of them when she tries to attack : )
My 0.02, you gotta do what will make YOU happy in the long run though.

I'm in the same boat as you my friend my mala has been bullied by my jd for the past 3 weeks and yesterday the wolf copped an attitude and bit my ck. Im in a bind because it looks like i have to get rid of hime or all his tankmates
 
my problem it the wolf is my all time fav fish but the ck was givin to me as a gift from the fiance.
