We woke up this morning to find 3 still born pups in the tank ( I took pictures and will post later ) We thought she was due around the 24th However the 20th all movement stopped, she continued to act normal and eat normal. Last night she delivered 3 pups that don't look to be fully developed. I am confused as to how she could have held onto them for nearly 2 weeks from when we noticed movement just stop? Wouldn't this have poisoned her system and killed her? God they would have been gorgeous!! And all 3 were girls! We will give mom a rest period and try again. Not sure if it is due to the cross of the 2 or something else she lost a previous litter with the same dad 3 months before but they were far less developed and were just kinda round flat blobs when she passed them.

Yes they were Hystrix Retix I will post pictures later when I am on my other computer. Not sure if we will try and cross them again both litters with the Hystrix she has lost.
