155 gall...should i start doing weekly? sometimes i get lazy and do it every 2-3 weeks...and should i do the whole tank? or a portion each week
got 2 AquaClear 500 Power Filters

uh if hes having an extreme bacterial bloom twice a week for two weeks then once a week after that will do it
and i would say add better and more filtration i have more filtration on my 110 then you do on your tank and i have never had a problem with cloudy water of course i do weekly water changes
Diatom filter, then keep up on water changes. Check your filter for anything unusual like a few pelletts might have got sucked up in it or something. Just a thought.
Baking carbon does not do a good job of reactivating it and can causes the carbon to release any chelated metals it may have absorded bact ito the water. Commercial reactivation of filter carbons is done at temperatures unattainable in home ovens and in a near vacuum after the carbon has been flushed with organic solvents.
