hello again my fellow fishy friends. i have a question for anybody who wishes to answer. i'm still contemplating what kind of fish to get. i'm thinking of fresh tropical fish that would not grow bigger than 5-6 inches(12.5cm-15cm).i'm now thinking a little bit smaller sizes of fish that would grow a little bit bigger(no more than 5 inches. also with your suggestions other fish and plants that would co-inside with the suggested fish. thanx everybody!! yours truly, doggin'
oh yeah i'v got a 35gallon tank(its one of those deeper tanks 24"L x 12"W x 24"H )with a eheim 2213 canister filter(i plan to run it near the bottom) and a inside hang on filter for hanging near the top of the water line( it is a in-tank tetra whisper 40i @170gph). i kinda liking colorful tropical that get along with other species(it would be cool to have different types of fish that got along but i also think maybe a dominant group with fish that they would not terrorize constantly(3 or 4 groups) once again i thank you!

How good are the local fish stores? can they special order?
This might not be as colorful as you had in mind but it would be an interesting and unusual tank.
All of these fish are from India.
The sizes listed are the maximum recorded so they usually are a little smaller.

You might want to think about adding some live plants like anubias and java fern.
